Our History
Golf Warehouse was started in 1986 at this same location on Spring Rd in Smyrna. The original owners were a Korean business man and woman that moved to Atlanta from New York after a career in the steel business. They ran a successful operation and sold it to Georgia native Dennis Legg in 2004. Mr. Legg graduated from Georgia Tech and rather than pursuing work with his engineering degree, decided to play Professional golf on the mini tours. While competing, he worked himself into the store manager position at Golf Warehouse before purchasing the business and renaming it Golf Warehouse Atlanta out of respect for his local heritage. Those who frequent the store would agree that there have been many changes in that time frame, but the one thing that hasn't change is the ownership's love of the game of golf.
